 Spinal and Postural Analysis
We then perform a full Spinal and Postural analysis, assessing spinal  alignment, movement and any areas of injury.

Neurological Examination
A full neurological assessment is then completed, including examination of reflexes, eye movements, memory and quality of nerve function.

SFMA

Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA)
A SFMA is a movement based diagnostic system, comprising of 7 full-body movement tests designed to assess fundamental patterns of movement in those with known musculoskeletal pain. It also helps identify mobility, stability and motor control problems.

IMG_0809 Electromyography (EMG)

Our EMG machine objectively assesses the electrical activity of muscles at  rest and during contraction, helping to identify overactive (tight) and under  active (weak) muscles. It can also be used to determine muscle imbalances and faulty movement patterns.

Balance Testing
We perform a computerised assessment of balance and stability on a force plate, helping to identify the risk of falling and objectively measure poor balance.

Joint Positioning
Using a laser guided device, we can assess the accuracy, smoothness and range of movement in the neck and lower back. This can be used as a subjective and objective measure for future Review sessions.
